This room is for general discussion among the players and other members of The CMO.
Consider this a CHAT ROOM. Feel free to share music tips or trivia as well as non-music subjects. It is a place to have the kind of chat for which our rehearsal time does not allow. Tell each other about family milestones, favourite recipes, hobbies, books, movies, something you want to sell, etc.
(There are no particular restrictions other than the usual expectations for chat room etiquette.)

How to ADD a File when posting a Comment :
1. Enter text into the COMMENTS box at the bottom of this page. It can be just a period/dot (.) as long as the box is not empty.
2. Click on CHOOSE FILES.
3. SELECT/HIGHLIGHT one or more images/files from your computer in the order in which you want these to appear on the webpage.
4. Click POST COMMENT.

Just a couple of stats . . .
Some of you may know already, but bandwidth is used when there is activity on our website – whether from me or by others visiting the site.
The website started in October 2012. In the past nine years, without getting bogged down in numbers, the monthly bandwidth used was between 30 and 200 – peaking a few times at 600 until the end of 2021.
Since January 2022, there were a couple of months where that number hit 1000. The stats for the past three months: 6000 in October, 8000 in November and 9000 in December!! A long way from the earlier days at 30.
What does this mean, you ask? It means that folks are visiting us. My work during a month would consume, generally, about 1000 of the bandwidth, while the rest would be other traffic.
As much as I would like to take the credit, I can’t. (Hehehe.) Folks don’t see the “bells and whistles” of the website until AFTER they arrive. Most likely, word of mouth has played a large part, as well as announcements at concerts, etc. Also the big numbers were during the period leading up to the Hallowe’en concert until the Christmas concert.
The interesting thing I discovered happening more often lately is that when anyone does a Google Search now, it isn’t just our HOME page on the top hit list. Thank you, Google. Other pages are showing up in the list, too. Our YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, past concerts, donation page, etc.. . . all linking back to our website.
Any page on our site shows the MENU at the top, AND the number of page views is rising. Presumably, visitors are exploring tabs other than just the page they land on first.
Whoo-hoo! This is VERY good news.

Just to let you know that a “Digital Programmes” page has been added to the website Menu. Even EASIER to locate the digital programmes on our website.
Note: If anyone has PDF programmes from previous concerts, please let me know. If you have paper versions, I can scan those and upload (i.e. as was done with the “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” programme from December 2021).

The most users online at the same time were 58 on December 15 at 3:23 p.m. (Up from 40 for the previous record; and 12 the time before then – December 9th and 5th, respectively.)
The visitor traffic numbers are moving in the RIGHT direction. Yay!
