CMO – Discussion (Players and Other CMO Members)

This room is for general discussion among the players and other members of The CMO.

Consider this a CHAT ROOM. Feel free to share music tips or trivia as well as non-music subjects. It is a place to have the kind of chat for which our rehearsal time does not allow. Tell each other about family milestones, favourite recipes, hobbies, books, movies, something you want to sell, etc.

(There are no particular restrictions other than the usual expectations for chat room etiquette.)

Note: This is not a “live” chat.

UPDATE : Added the “Reply” option (i.e. arrow) so that related contributions will be grouped as a conversation thread responding to the original comment – as of January 20, 2023.

  1. Hello, Everyone!

Good news from Nigel last night at rehearsal. Big plans are shaping up for us. Nigel, Anne, and Greg have some ambitious projects in store to benefit our orchestra.

As Nigel mentioned, they are forming a committee.. There will be many tasks – both big and small. Please give some thought about how you may support their efforts for when they come calling.

As they say: Many hands make for light work . . . or something like that. My hands (and feet) are all in !

    :0)

  2. The latest visitor stats to the CMO website . . .

Since the COUNTER was set up for the site on March 31, 2022, we have averaged 10.8 visitors per day.

  3. Hi, All:

Some GOOD news. FIVE folks have responded to our website’s ONLINE POLL.

That may not seem like much, but it’s a start. The best part is that the only way to find this poll is to land on our website FIRST . . . then browse the site menu and discover the tab. That means visitors are exploring what we have to offer while there.

Let’s hope they click on the tickets and donor tabs as well ! (Hehehe.)

  5. Hi, All:

Updated some page info on the UPCOMING CONCERTS menu tab of our website.

Only 6 weeks until the March 26th concert. Tell anyone you can think of . . . and please direct them to our website to order tickets in advance. (It sure would be nice to see more than the average attendance of 90 at our last four concerts. The concert venue will seat over 300.)

    Thanks a bunch!
